Activities and Community Access
There are always opportunities to make new friends and learn new skills at Autumn Leaves
Our staff plan a varied and enjoyable social calendar for residents, in the sensory room or the games and activities zone, located in our spacious lounge area, set below a beautiful glass ceiling through which you can see the sky, stars and birds. Our residents also enjoy time gardening and relaxing outdoors.
We encourage a full and active lifestyle where friends, relatives and guests are always welcome.
"My brother is very happy with the support and attention he gets. He gets on well with the members of staff and with the other people living within the building" ~ Brother of Resident, Autumn Leaves.
A range of appetizing meals are prepared daily using fresh produce. Although there is an emphasis on traditional English cooking, special dietary needs and personal preferences can always be catered for.
A fundamental part of daily living for residents is the activities in the community and in the home at Autumn Leaves.
- In line with the service users’ care plans and risk assessment we take time to work with them to build an activity time table of their choice.
- We work with them to identify new interests and encourage them continuously.
- Where capacity is limited, we are able to use our skilled knowledge to understand needs and interests and build a timetable for them.
- Here at Autumn Leaves, we firmly believe activities are an important aspect of one’s wellbeing, development and social interactions.
