Windsor House - Enhanced Supported Living Service

Windsor House is located on the first floor of Autumn Leaves, and is an enhanced supported living service that specialises in High/Complex support needs.

Typically, service users are on the severe end of the autism spectrum and present heightened challenging behaviors. Some may have a diagnosis of Pathological Demand Avoidance. (PDA). However suitable service users can be from any spectrum that requires 1:1 support of approximately 140 hours or more per week.

"We work closely with CCG Transitioning, Complex Care Teams, Social Workers and families to ensure we understand and meet those individual support requirements."

Windsor House is an apartment-based complex for those who require contained living environments with capacity to socialise and be part of the communal space on offer. The facility has a communal lounge, kitchen and activity spaces bespoke to their needs.

Windsor House has an inhouse Positive Behavioral Support (PBS) Team and vigorous PBS plans implemented to aid in resident support. Staff have enhanced training and have a wealth of relevant experience in the field. All staff are trained and have experience to deal with behaviours of concern and follow PROACT-SCIPr-UK® methodology to monitor and manage these.

Windsor House operates as an individual service that is managed by Autumn Leaves service lead. Service users are welcomed to make use of Autumn Leaves in line with their care plan and risk assessments.
